Hannah Cianci

Hannah earned her Master’s degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the top-ranked Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. While in law school, she attained notable recognitions, including the prestigious Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Awards in both Selected Issues In Dispute Resolution: Entertainment and Sports Industry Disputes and also in Cross-Cultural Conflicts and Dispute Resolution. Actively involved in the legal community, Hannah was selected for the 2023 Fall Mediation Clinic, where she settled numerous cases as a volunteer mediator for the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) throughout the Los Angeles County Small Claims and Civil Harassment Courts. As a committed Sports & Entertainment Law Society (SELS) member, Hannah participated in various Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Olympic Anti-Doping mock arbitrations in London, England, through Pepperdine’s Summer 2023 Sports Law Study Tour. Further highlighting her expertise, Hannah represented Pepperdine in the Southern California Cross-School Collaboration Mediation Competition in the Fall of 2023. Hannah is a member of the Energy Bar Association (EBA), Sports Lawyers Association (SLA), and Women in Sports and Events (WISE).

Prior to her work as a mediator, Hannah graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.A. in Communication and Film Studies.  After college, Hannah moved to Bangkok, Thailand, to teach Kindergarten English and travel throughout Southeast Asia.  Previously based out of Los Angeles, Hannah brings over four years of sales and marketing experience, specializing in print and digital advertising. Having previously held positions at renowned publishing giants The Wall Street Journal and Hearst Magazines, Hannah oversaw iconic titles such as Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Women's Health, and Men's Health, in addition to managing the Tech, Media & Telecom division at The Wall Street Journal. A recipient of the Hearst Young Women's Group 2020 "Most Detail Oriented" Award, Hannah's sales career has been marked by acquiring over 60 new advertisers and administering over 3.5 million in business.

Hannah is a former state champion gymnast and diver. She aligns her lifelong dedication to athleticism with a career interest in negotiating and resolving sports disputes.

Beyond the realm of sports, she enjoys dedicating her free time to lending her creativity and keen eye for interior design to clients and friends.
